Penngrove
One of the North Bay's best kept secrets
Located east of the Highway 101 corridor between Petaluma and Cotati, Penngrove is one of the North Bay's best kept secrets. Once a freight station on the Northwestern Pacific Railroad, Penngrove was the second largest egg and poultry producing area in Sonoma County, second only to Petaluma. With a population of 2,522, Penngrove offers small-town values with immediate access to large town conveniences. Penngrove's downtown is only a few blocks long and includes an eclectic array of shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Penngrove residents are proud of their town, culture and small businesses, as evidenced by their community magazine named Penngrove Proud.
